2025 Ormond Beach Strategic Plan The City began formally adopting a strategic plan in 2015 and has continued to regularly update its goals and priorities through City Commission workshops and progress reports. This process supports good governance and is vital in providing for the efficient use of staff and financial resources. In 2025, the City of Ormond Beach engaged Strategic Government Resources (SGR) to assist the City Commission in updating its Strategic Plan. SGR facilitated a two-day goal-setting workshop on March 12 and March 13, with a follow-up workshop on May 6, 2025, to review and finalize the City Commission's goals and priorities for the remainder of this election term. As part of this process, the City Commission revised the City's vision statement, mission statement, and organizational values and reaffirmed the following strategic pillars established in the City's 2019 Strategic Plan: Transportation & Community Development Economic Development Governance Public Safety Quality of Life Water Quality and Environment The 2025 Strategic Plan identifies the goals and priorities agreed upon for each strategic pillar and will be utilized to help guide the City's efforts and resources for the betterment of our community. Progress reports will be published regularly to measure intended outcomes and results.
