Known affectionately as “Keyshia,” she was born on August 4, 1981, in Denton, Texas, to Nathaniel Johnson Jr. and Rochelle Pitts. She was the eldest of nine children.Surrounded by her grandparents, the late Mother Dorothy Pitts, the late Minister Nathaniel Johnson Sr and Dessie Johnson, Keyshia felt an overwhelming sense of joy and contentment. Her heart overflowed with an uncontainable delight every time she basked in the warmth of their loving presence. Their unwavering love and support profoundly impacted Keyshia’s heart, lifting her spirit and nourishing her soul. Their unconditional love, care, warmth, and presence in Keyshia’s life were precious gifts she deeply cherished and held in the highest regard.Keyshia's incredible journey of song began at a tender age, nurtured by the loving mentorship of her "PawPaw", the late Minister Nathaniel Johnson Sr. She joyfully accepted Christ at an early age under the inspired leadership of Pastor TJ Denson Sr. of Macedonia Baptist Church. Her passion for ministry only grew stronger. Her heart's desire was the Youth Choir, where she flourished under the nurturing guidance of Cheryl Thompson and Rebecca Leaper, as well as the Youth Ministry of Macedonia.Keyshia's passion for music persisted throughout her academic tenure. During her elementary school years, she was afforded the remarkable opportunity to participate in “The Texas Girls’ Choir,” traveling internationally to perform in Switzerland and singing for the late Queen Elizabeth II.During her high school years, she continued to harness her remarkable and beautiful voice in the Denton High School Choir. Keyshia was also nominated for Homecoming Queen and actively participated in the Youth Defense Attorney program for the City of Denton. Keyshia graduated from Denton High School as a proud member of the Class of 1999.She continued her educational pursuits by attending North Central Texas College in Gainesville, TX. In the fall of 1999, Keyshia later pledged the Krimson Kourt Inc - KKI, crossing over December 5,1999. Her Line Name was “17 Distinctive Diamonds of a New Era”. Keyshia was “15 klub” and called herself “KHAOS”. Keyshia worked for a nursing home for several years and was later employed with Denton ISD Transportation from 2007 to 2022.In February of 2007, she was blessed to have the love of her life, a precious gift, a cuddly baby boy, Aayden Cole Johnson. They were inseparable and their bond was truly unbreakable!Through the many challenges Keyshia faced in her life, she remained radiant. She always aspired to spread joy and laughter to everyone she encountered. Denton Texas 76205William Craig Young age 71 transitioned on April 29, 2026 in his home in Detroit, Texas, surrounded by his wife and granddaughter Clara.Born to Thomas Young and Dimples Scruggs in Chicago, Illinois, on March 20, 1955. William spent his early years traveling to Oklahoma with his uncle Al and wife, Bernice. visiting his relatives and his grandpa, Papa Shang Young, whom he loved dearly.William's aunt, Mattie Brown, and family were instrumental in his upbringing, nurturing him in strong faith and fostering a relationship with God at an early age. Carolyn Creamer and Margie Banks were also instrumental in mothering William. William’s father, Thomas Young, along with his uncles, his older brother William Ray Young II, and his special cousin and best friend, Dwayne Earl Zarkoft Brown, instilled in him daily guidance and strong values.William attended Chicago Public School and continued his education at area colleges to pursue his engineering degree. He later furthered his education in other studies at Paris Junior College in Paris, Texas.William was married at an early age under the command of his grandmother, Clara Scruggs. Four children were born into this unity: Miyoshi, Tamika, Cherie, and Alfred Young. William was young but devoted to caring for his family. Williams' time alone in silence with prayers and living alone led him to what he prayed for: the woman who is now his wife of 48 years all thanks to God and his sister, Toya. William Young IV was born into this unity. William was a caring and devoted dad to Cassu, Cadris, Terri, and Tori. He also fathered a child in his later years, Wesley Adams, whom he didn't get to know as well as he liked and wanted.Professionally, William held many management positions in various businesses and received several awards and certificates. William retired from Central Gulf Railroad, having held many positions in state and out-of-state field service railroad work.William and his family moved to Texas in the early nineties. He always wanted to be a rancher to see what country living would be like. He established a green acre farm, raising chickens, cows, emus, goats, horses, roosters and other common animals.William was preceded in death by his father, Thomas Young, and mother, Dimple Scruggs. Brother Thomas Young jr and daughter Cherie Young. Other loved ones he cared for were Minkus Simmons, Marcel O'Neal, Tori Washington jr, and William Caleb Young V.William is survived by his loving wife, Rebis, and sons William jr, Alfred, and Wesley. daughters Miyoshi and Tameka.Bonus sons special to him were Lil Bobby Williams, Brandon Blue, Craig Young, and special grandsons Malachi, Cadris jr, Montae, and Ryan. special granddaughters: Clara (whom he raised) Brittany, Dejah, Jada, Ava, laurielle and princess Taliyah.He is also survived by his extended family, who cherished him as a son and brother including his mother-in-law, Madea (Christine), and his brothers, Sunny, Ed, Diron, and Fee-Fee. sisters, Jackie, Pontee, and Kassie.He had twenty-three grandchildren and fifteen great grandchildren. He cherished the relationship he had with his longtime buddy and brother George Page. He loved his nephew William (Tuffy) Young. cousins James (shorty) Scruggs, Lincoln Scruggs, Michael Wafford and Ulysses Wafford.William enjoyed comradery with his friends, Bates, Clark, Herc, and Tim barbecuing, fishing and hunting.William will be greatly missed by everyone who loved him. He lived a prestigious, dignified, and faithful life dedicated to God, his wife, his family, and his community.J.C. Tucker was born on April 24, 1940, to the late George and Jerline “BaeBae” Tucker in Fort Worth. He was educated in Fort Worth I.S.D. and later graduated from Fremont High School in Los Angeles in 1958.On December 9, 1965, Deacon Tucker married the love of his life, Evelyn Tucker (Baxter), in Olympia, WA. To this union, they welcomed their miracle child, Anthony G. Tucker, Sr.In 1958, Deacon “Pop” Tucker proudly enlisted in the United States Army. During his eight-year tenure, he served in various honorable positions, including Military Policeman and Infantry Airborne Trainer. He also had the privilege of fighting for our country in the Vietnam War. He was honorably discharged from the military in 1966 with the rank of Staff Sergeant E-6.After departing from the military, he returned home to Fort Worth, where he laid strong roots for his family and community. He proudly served at Bell Helicopter in many capacities over the course of 38 years. While faithfully working and supporting his family, he also attended Tarrant County Junior College. He later retired from Bell Helicopter as a Security Guard after years of dedicated and diligent service. He was truly the epitome of a hardworking man who sacrificed selflessly for those he loved.Even after retirement, Pop remained a jack of all trades, using his many skills and talents to work, volunteer, and serve others. He enjoyed drawing, cooking and barbecuing, working puzzles, building and crafting projects such as antique model cars, and spending quality time with family and friends. Pop was one of the warmest, kindest, and most welcoming individuals anyone could ever meet.Deacon Tucker became an ordained deacon at Crawford Street Baptist Church in Fort Worth under the late Reverend Dancer. He later joined Gospel Temple C.H.S.C. under the late E.L. McBride. As he continued in his spiritual journey, he later joined and helped plant Mt. Zion C.H.S.C. under the late Pastor Charles Jimerson. There, he faithfully served as a Deacon, Sunday School teacher, and church board member for 28 years under the leadership of the late Pastor Corine Jimerson and Bishop Robert Crochet, Sr.In 2010, he joined and faithfully supported his son, Pastor Anthony G. Tucker, Sr., at The Inspired Church, where he served diligently as a Deacon and Board Member until his final days. He was deeply loved and respected by so many. His servant’s heart, his humility, and the honor and grace he carried with every step he took and every word he spoke will live on through his legacy for generations to come.Deacon “Pop” Tucker was preceded in death by his parents, George and Jerline “BaeBae” Tucker; his sisters, Dorothy “Dot” McIlveen and Waldean “Maurice” Peoples; and his brother, Paul Green.Deacon “Pop” Tucker loved his family with his entire being. He was one of eleven children and was raised with strong values, faith, discipline, and perseverance that would shape the course of his life.At an early age, Earl accepted Christ and was baptized at an early age. His family later relocated to Chicago, Illinois, where he attended DuSable High School.Following high school, Earl proudly enlisted in the United States Marine Corps on April 19, 1966. He faithfully served his country until June 1972, earning the rank of Corporal. During his military service, Earl received numerous commendations, honors, and distinguished awards, including the Purple Heart, recognizing his courage, sacrifice, and unwavering dedication to his country.Earl’s legacy of honor and service continued through his family. Following in his father’s proud footsteps, his son, Eric David German, also served in the United States Marine Corps, continuing the family tradition of courage, discipline, and commitment to serving others.Following his military service, Earl continued his commitment to serving others through a distinguished career with the Chicago Police Department. He served honorably until retirement and was highly respected for his professionalism, leadership, bravery, and dedication to protecting his community.Earl was a proud, strong, and determined man who loved deeply and lived boldly. He valued family, loyalty, laughter, and hard work. Known for his wisdom, sharp sense of humor, and unforgettable personality, Earl left a lasting impression on everyone blessed to know him.A devoted sports fan through and through, Earl proudly represented Chicago wherever he went. He was a lifelong Chicago Bears and Chicago White Sox fan. Even after relocating to Texas in 2012, Earl made it known — especially among Dallas Cowboys fans — that he would forever remain the number one Bears fan.Earl also had a deep love for coaching little league baseball and took great pride in mentoring and encouraging young athletes both on and off the field. He cherished fellowship, conversation, and camaraderie. Her family often said she carried a special gift: the ability to love deeply, pray fervently, and bring people together.Donna graduated from Denton High School and later earned her Associate Degree in Business from El Centro College in Dallas, Texas. She continued her education through the prestigious Wharton Business Program, equipping herself with the knowledge and skill that would fuel her remarkable career as an entrepreneur and business leader. Even in her youth, it was clear to all who knew her that Donna was destined for greatness.Career and Business InfluenceDonna’s professional journey spanned more than 40 years and left an indelible mark on the business community nationwide. As the founder and owner of Joy Promotions Inc., she built a thriving enterprise specializing in promotions and advertising specialty products. Her leadership was defined not only by excellence and innovation but by the faith she carried boldly into every boardroom, meeting, and partnership.Colleagues and clients alike admired her integrity, her brilliance, and her ability to make every person feel seen and valued. Donna’s influence extended far beyond business transactions—she ministered through her work, offering encouragement, wisdom, and prayer to countless individuals across the country.Community Leadership & ServiceDonna was a passionate advocate for business development, minority entrepreneurship, and community empowerment. She served actively within organizations such as the DFW Minority Development Council, contributing through membership, sponsorship, and volunteer leadership. Her dedication earned her numerous awards, including the prestigious E-Award for outstanding business success.Her heart for service was especially evident in her commitment to mentoring women. He met his common in law wife Linda Briones in 2008 and they had a son Elias Martinez in 2013, Linda also had her son Emilio from a previous relationship that Jose (Taly) treated as his own child. In 2018 his daughter Martha and son Noe joined him in the USA and his remaining 2 daughters Suyapa and Sicely still remained in Honduras. Jose had a dream of returning to Honduras in the next few years to meet his Sicely, he left Honduras when her mother was still pregnant with Sicely. He knew her through phone calls, pictures and Video Chats. In 2025 Sicely had her first child and Jose was extremely excited and want to return to Honduras sooner to spend time with his grandchild. Jose wanted to return home after 20 long years of working hard and building a future for his children. He wanted to explore the places in Honduras was never able to before he left for the USA.Jose’s (Taly) life was cut short on May 28th, 2026 in the ICU in Texas Health Fort Worth, due to complications that are unknown. He would want us to remember him for his laughter, all the stories he used to talk about things that happened in life and how google was smarter than us. He always making someone laugh at something and always made friends where ever he was. He was very well liked. Everyone has a memory of him. He is preceded by his mother Maria Elena Ardon Mejia (Honduras) His Nephew Jose Efrain Martinez Jr (Texas) his grandmothers, Grandfathers, and many others.

From an early age, Maurice brought joy to those around him with his infectious smile, quick wit, and love of learning. He began working at McDaniels Pharmacy at a young age, where his passion for helping others first flourished. A natural leader, he served as class president at his high school.After graduating, Maurice attended Alcorn State University. There, he met his future wife and proudly pledged Omega Psi Phi Fraternity, Inc. He later continued his education at Xavier University in Louisiana. He earned his Doctor of Pharmacy degree in 1994. In 2000, he became a certified Physician Assistant. This was well before many people fully understood the important role PAs would come to play in healthcare. Maurice was truly ahead of his time.His journey next led him to join the faculty of Hampton University as a professor in the Department of Pharmacy. A gifted educator and mentor, he was honored with the Teacher of the Year Award for his dedication, wisdom, and ability to inspire his students. Maurice later spent more than 20 years as a Senior Medical Science Liaison for several pharmaceutical companies. He earned the respect of colleagues across the industry for his professionalism, brilliance, and compassion.Maurice’s children brought him the greatest joy. He was a devoted father to Maurice III and Kayla. He had a deep love for travel and treasured creating memories with his family. Together, they explored more than 30 states and traveled abroad to beautiful countries including Italy, Spain, and France. Whether near or far, he found joy in experiencing life with those he loved most.To know Maurice was to love him. He possessed a generous spirit, a brilliant mind, and a gift for making others feel seen, valued, and cared for. He was determined and always ready with wisdom, encouragement, or a solution to any problem. His presence brought comfort, laughter, and strength to all who knew him.Maurice leaves to cherish his memory his beloved wife, Angela; his children, Maurice III and Kayla; his sister, Lanita (Randy); his brother-in-law, Charles (Victoria); his nieces and nephews, Randy Jr., Kennedy, Sydney, and Khari (Chris); along with a host of loving cousins, fraternity brothers, colleagues, and dear friends whose lives were forever touched by his kindness and love.

Known affectionately as “Keyshia,” she was born on August 4, 1981, in Denton, Texas, to Nathaniel Johnson Jr. and Rochelle Pitts. She was the eldest of nine children.Surrounded by her grandparents, the late Mother Dorothy Pitts, the late Minister Nathaniel Johnson Sr and Dessie Johnson, Keyshia felt an overwhelming sense of joy and contentment. Her heart overflowed with an uncontainable delight every time she basked in the warmth of their loving presence. Their unwavering love and support profoundly impacted Keyshia’s heart, lifting her spirit and nourishing her soul. Their unconditional love, care, warmth, and presence in Keyshia’s life were precious gifts she deeply cherished and held in the highest regard.Keyshia's incredible journey of song began at a tender age, nurtured by the loving mentorship of her "PawPaw", the late Minister Nathaniel Johnson Sr. She joyfully accepted Christ at an early age under the inspired leadership of Pastor TJ Denson Sr. of Macedonia Baptist Church. Her passion for ministry only grew stronger. Her heart's desire was the Youth Choir, where she flourished under the nurturing guidance of Cheryl Thompson and Rebecca Leaper, as well as the Youth Ministry of Macedonia.Keyshia's passion for music persisted throughout her academic tenure. During her elementary school years, she was afforded the remarkable opportunity to participate in “The Texas Girls’ Choir,” traveling internationally to perform in Switzerland and singing for the late Queen Elizabeth II.During her high school years, she continued to harness her remarkable and beautiful voice in the Denton High School Choir. Keyshia was also nominated for Homecoming Queen and actively participated in the Youth Defense Attorney program for the City of Denton. Keyshia graduated from Denton High School as a proud member of the Class of 1999.She continued her educational pursuits by attending North Central Texas College in Gainesville, TX. In the fall of 1999, Keyshia later pledged the Krimson Kourt Inc - KKI, crossing over December 5,1999. Her Line Name was “17 Distinctive Diamonds of a New Era”. Keyshia was “15 klub” and called herself “KHAOS”. Keyshia worked for a nursing home for several years and was later employed with Denton ISD Transportation from 2007 to 2022.In February of 2007, she was blessed to have the love of her life, a precious gift, a cuddly baby boy, Aayden Cole Johnson. They were inseparable and their bond was truly unbreakable!Through the many challenges Keyshia faced in her life, she remained radiant. She always aspired to spread joy and laughter to everyone she encountered.
