Kirk Homers in Rehab Debut as Dunedin Tops Daytona

Alejandro Kirk hit a home run in his first rehab game Wednesday as the Dunedin Blue Jays defeated the Daytona Tortugas 4-2 at TD Ballpark.

Troy Guthrie threw six shutout innings for Dunedin. Kirk, recovering from injury on a rehab assignment with the Toronto Blue Jays' minor league affiliate, provided the offensive spark in his return to game action.

The teams continue their series at TD Ballpark in the coming days.
