NWS Doppler radar at 4:02 AM EDT detected a strong storm within a tropical rain band near Jay Bird Springs, approximately 11 miles east of Eastman. This storm is moving north at 35 mph. Radar has indicated localized rotation within storms embedded in this rainband, suggesting a brief tornado could form quickly.
