At 3:17 AM EDT on October 10, 2026, radar indicated a strong storm within a tropical rain band near Scott, approximately 9 miles south of Wrightsville. This storm is moving north at 35 mph and has exhibited localized rotation. A brief tornado could form quickly.

This alert is effective immediately and expires at 3:45 AM EDT today. Locations impacted include Wrightsville, Harrison, Lovett, Spann, Donovan, and Scott. People outdoors in these areas should seek shelter immediately.
