GRANTS PASS, Ore. (May 20, 2024) – Dutch Bros Coffee and its customers raised more than $1.5 million on May 17 for local youth organizations! One hundred percent of proceeds from all Dutch Bros locations were donated to organizations dedicated to providing resources for education, extracurricular activities and other programs. “We are so grateful for our customers, broistas and communities who show up every year for Drink One for Dane,” said Christine Barone, CEO of Dutch Bros Coffee. “The impact of this day is felt year-round as local organizations are able to provide opportunities and resources for youth.” The funds were raised during the 17th annual Drink One for Dane day, honoring Dane Boersma, one of the company’s co-founders who passed away from Amyotrophic Lateral Sclerosis (ALS) in 2009. Each year, Dutch Bros donates proceeds from one day of sales to the Muscular Dystrophy Association to fund research and treatment for ALS. In 2023, Dutch Bros expanded the impact of the day to also support local youth organizations. Dutch Bros locations across the country partner with local organizations in their communities.
