At 3:51 AM CDT, Doppler radar located a strong thunderstorm 15 miles north of Loma Alta, moving east at 25 mph. The primary hazards associated with this storm include wind gusts up to 50 mph and half-inch hail. Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around unsecured objects, with minor damage to outdoor objects possible.
Torrential rainfall is also occurring with this storm, which may lead to localized flooding. If you are outdoors, consider seeking shelter inside a building. Do not drive your vehicle through flooded roadways.
Locations impacted include Juno, Bakers Crossing, Vinegarone, Us-277 Near The Sutton-Edwards County Line, and Devils River State Natural Area Del Norte.
