Walton County property owners and contractors now use a simplified Pile Installation Application form to obtain permits for pile installations. The county introduced the new form to collect all necessary project details upfront, aiming for efficient review and approval.
The application requires property owners to provide their names and addresses. Contractors must submit their business details, including license number and contact information, along with the specific project location.
Applicants must specify the intended purpose of the pile installation, the type of piles planned and their estimated depth. The Walton County Building Department uses this information to ensure projects comply with county regulations.
Once the application is complete and reviewed, the property owner, contractor and a Building Department representative will sign the form, confirming approval and verification of all details.
Residents and contractors can obtain the Pile Installation Application form and submit completed applications through the Walton County Building Department.
