The Gulf Stream Civic Association (GSCA) actively engages residents in Deerfield Beach to improve their community. Founded in 1956, it is the second oldest civic association in Palm Beach County. The GSCA's efforts have shaped neighborhoods from the historic Barracuda & Anchor district to areas near the pier.
Approximately three-quarters of owner-occupied households are members. The association reinvests member dues into projects that beautify the town, enhance public safety, and protect property values. These initiatives benefit Deerfield Beach from its shoreline to its inland streets.
The GSCA also serves as a forum for residents to stay informed about local issues and voice opinions to elected officials. This direct communication encourages a more responsive local government.
Residents interested in the Gulf Stream Civic Association's work or in joining can contact President Kirsten Stanley at 561.702.7351.
