Deerfield Beach Education Board Meeting Schedule Announced

The Deerfield Beach Education Advisory Board (EAB) will hold its regular meetings on the first Wednesday of each month at 5:30 p.m. The meetings will take place at the Hillsboro Community Center, located at 50 Hillsboro Technology Drive.

The EAB acts as a liaison between Deerfield Beach's schools, colleges, and universities, and the City Commission. Board members facilitate information sharing through school newsletters and principal offices. They also coordinate city activities with educational institutions to promote resident opportunities and encourage community involvement in educational programs.

The EAB Chair, with the Mayor's permission, may meet with members of the Broward County School Board to represent the city's interests on broader educational matters.

The next meeting is scheduled for Wednesday, October 2, 2026. Residents can attend to learn about educational initiatives and share their perspectives on how the city can support learning for all ages.
