Seven Daytona Beach Firefighters Earn Paramedic Certification

Seven Daytona Beach firefighters graduated from Daytona State College's paramedic program, completing a 64-week course that included 1,100 hours of classroom and hands-on training.

The graduates are Alexander Shallop, Scott Perry, Damien Walden, Juan Ferrusco, Trentyn Smith, Ian Sanmoogan, and Haley Corbin. They will now enter the department's paramedic clearing process before providing advanced medical services to residents.
