The Town of Dania's Public Works Department oversees a wide range of services that ensure the town's smooth operation. The department maintains public property and infrastructure, including Griffin Road, and manages the town's vehicle fleet.

Public Works responsibilities include upkeep, cleaning, landscaping, and repair of all public spaces. This encompasses managing stormwater drainage and irrigation systems, maintaining sewer and water lines, and ensuring the condition of sidewalks and parks like Frost Park. The department also handles grounds maintenance, facility upkeep, and the wastewater transmission infrastructure.

Residents can report issues such as broken streetlights or sidewalks by calling the Public Works Department at 954-640-4232. For sewer and water emergencies, residents north of Pine Avenue should call 954-942-2202. Residents south of Pine Avenue should call 954-295-4135 for sewer emergencies and 954-828-8000 for water emergencies.

Beyond routine maintenance, Public Works assists with town events by preparing Jarvis Hall for public and private functions. The department also monitors construction projects and Capital Improvement projects to ensure they meet town standards. The town's beach receives daily cleaning seven days a week through a contract with Beach Raker.
