Volunteer for VOICE Program - Help Georgetown Residents

Sign Up to become a VOICE Volunteer! What is VOICE?VOICE is a volunteer program designed to perform a welfare check and to brighten the day for our Georgetown residents who homebound, experiencing reduced mobility or a “shut- in”.What we do?Volunteers make calls to residents on Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays. If contact with a resident is not made on two consecutive calls, then an officer will be dispatched to make a welfare check.How to Sign Up? To become a VOICE client or to volunteer, call the Georgetown Police Department at (843)545-4375 to speak with the Victim’s Advocate, scan the QR code below, or online at www.gerogetownsc.gov

Georgetown County Mosquito Spraying Schedule Announced

Georgetown County Mosquito Control will be conducting spraying operations in the following areas: * August 5-9: Pawleys Island * August 12-16: Debordieu * August 19-23: North Litchfield * August 26-30: South Litchfield * September 2-6: Litchfield Country Club * September 9-13: Prince George * September 16-20: Hagley * September 23-27: Waccamaw Neck * September 30-October 4: Black River * October 7-11: Georgetown * October 14-18: Sampit * October 21-25: Plantersville * October 28-November 1: Pennyroyal * November 4-8: Andrews * November 11-15: Lanes Creek * November 18-22: Browns Ferry * November 25-29: Murrells Inlet Spraying will occur between the hours of 6:00 PM and 6:00 AM. Please be aware of the trucks in your neighborhood and avoid contact with the spray. Keep children and pets away from the trucks. If you have any questions, please call Georgetown County Mosquito Control at (843) 545-3107.
