Portland Marathon to impact traffic on several downtown bridges
Portland Marathon to impact traffic on several downtown bridges Offered by Communications Office Bridges Transportation Division September 30, 2026 This weekend the annual Portland Marathon will impact traffic on several bridges maintained by Multnomah County. Plan ahead for potential traffic delays and use caution while traveling in the downtown area. Broadway Bridge On Sunday, Oct. 4 from 6:30 a.m. to 9:00 a.m. the following morning, the Broadway Bridge will be closed to all motorized vehicles, pedestrians and cyclists for the event. Burnside Bridge On Sunday, Oct. 4 from 7:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m., one westbound lane on the Burnside Bridge will be closed to all motorized vehicles, pedestrians and cyclists for the event. Morrison Bridge On Sunday, Oct. 4 from 12:00 p.m. to 2:00 p.m. the south sidewalk and bike lane will be closed on the Morrison Bridge for the event. Sellwood Bridge On Sunday, Oct. 4 from 6:30 a.m. to 10:45 a.m. the westbound lane on the Sellwood Bridge will be closed for the event. Hawthorne Bridge On Sunday, Oct. 4 from 7:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. the S.E. Water Avenue ramp will be closed for the event. All other traffic lanes and sidewalks on these bridges will remain open for the event. Multnomah County maintains five Willamette River bridges: the Sellwood, Hawthorne, Morrison, Burnside and Broadway Bridges as well as the Wapato Bridge over the Multnomah Channel. Washington County Developmental Disabilities to host October 10 resource fair in Beaverton | Washington County, OR Skip to main content Media release Developmental Disabilities Behavioral Health Posted October 1, 2026 Washington County Developmental Disabilities (DD) will hold its annual fall resource fair on Saturday, October 10, from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. at the Conestoga Recreation Center, 9985 SW 125th Avenue in Beaverton. Learn about available DD services, such as attendant care, relief care, behavior consultation, community recreation, educational resources, residential services, employment support, and more. “This fair is a one-stop shop for families to find developmental disability services and supports in Washington County,” Program Manager Kirsten Oster said. “It’s also a great opportunity for parents and caregivers to network, and attendees can even apply for some services onsite.” More than 50 local agencies and organizations will be on hand. Get Vote Ready for the November 3, 2026 General Election Voters are encouraged to include Track Your Ballot as part of their voting plan. Oregon City, OR – Clerk Catherine McMullen is encouraging Clackamas County voters to sign up for Track Your Ballot in advance of the November 3, 2026 General Election, “Track Your Ballot allows my office to send email, text, or voice notifications to voters who sign up about the status of their ballot from mailed to received and accepted for counting. It will let you know when your general election ballot is on its way!” Voters can use Track Your Ballot as they get ready to vote every election including the upcoming November 3, 2026 General Election. Receive an alert when your ballot is mailed to you. After you vote and return your ballot, be alerted when it has been received by the elections office, and again when it has been accepted for counting. If you forget to sign your ballot return envelope or your signature does not match the signature on your voter registration record, you will receive a notification through Track Your Ballot in addition to a mailed letter from Clackamas County Elections on how to take action and ensure your vote can be counted. Your vote remains anonymous and confidential. Track Your Ballot is a free service for voters provided by Clackamas County Elections. More than 50,000 Clackamas County voters have signed up, but there is still plenty of time to use the service for this election. Sign up online for Track Your Ballot at clackamas.us/elections/track-your-ballot. The Voter Registration Deadline is Oct. 13, 2026. You can register to vote or update your voter registration online at OregonVotes.gov. Clackamas County Elections will mail ballots to voters beginning Oct. 14 and voters should receive them by Oct. 22.
