Jody Palmer Steps Down as Hiram City Manager After 20 Years

Jody Palmer resigned as Hiram City Manager effective immediately on May 1, ending a 20-year tenure with the city.

The Hiram City Council will consider appointing Michael Huffstetler, the current Operations Director, as interim City Manager at its May 5 meeting. Huffstetler would manage day-to-day administrative operations while the council searches for a permanent replacement.

Mayor Frank Moran said the city would maintain all services during the transition. The council plans to launch a search for a permanent City Manager in the coming months. For details, contact Moran at [email protected] or visit www.cityofhiramga.gov.
