Patricia L Wojtewicz, 86, Passes Away

Patricia L Wojtewicz Patricia May 12, 1940 to June 04, 2026

Patricia L Wojtewicz Patricia May 12, 1940 to June 04, 2026 Patricia L. Wojtewicz, 86, formerly of Burtchville Township, passed away peacefully on Thursday, June 4, 2026, at MediLodge of Yale. Pat was born on May 12, 1940, in Dearborn, Michigan, to William and Elsie (Adams) Allen. One of seven children, she grew up surrounded by family and carried that love of family throughout her life. Following her parents' divorce, her mother married Earl Robertson, who became a beloved stepfather and an important part of the family. Pat met George Wojtewicz, and the couple married in 1961. Together they raised three children and built a life centered on family. Pat was a devoted mother and grandmother who found her greatest joy in caring for those she loved. She was especially fond of her grandchildren and was actively involved in their lives as they grew up. Whether preparing home-cooked meals, sharing special treats, or simply spending time together, she created countless memories that her family will cherish forever. In 2001, Pat relocated to Burtchville Township. She enjoyed working as a housekeeper at the former Thomas Edison Inn before taking on a role she treasured most-becoming a full-time caregiver for her grandchildren, Benjamin and Grace. She was blessed to be a daily part of their childhood, and they were equally blessed to grow up with her love, guidance, and companionship. Pat enjoyed life's simple pleasures. She loved her coffee black, never turned down a sweet treat, and always looked forward to family dinners at Red Lobster. She also enjoyed visiting the casino and trying her luck at the slot machines. Even in her final months, her family smiled knowing she still preferred to eat her pudding first. Pat was preceded in death by her son, Thomas Wojtewicz; her former husband, George Wojtewicz; her mother, Elsie Robertson; her stepfather, Earl Robertson; her father, William Allen; and her siblings, Betty Whitehead, William Allen, Joanne Weir, Helen Ross, Irene Straub, and Eilene Ellis. She is survived by her son, Greg (Andrea) Wojtewicz; her daughter, Reggie (Todd) Goldman; her grandchildren, Rick Tomlin, Jeremy (Brittany) Tomlin, Danielle Wojtewicz, Gregory Wojtewicz, Benjamin Goldman, and Grace Goldman; her great-grandchildren, Ricky Tomlin, Randy Tomlin, Jace Tomlin, Braden Tomlin, Bailey Tomlin, and Cooper Wojtewicz; and many beloved nieces and nephews, as well as great-nieces, great-nephews, and extended family members. Funeral services will be held at 12:00 noon on Tuesday, June 9, 2026, in Karrer-Simpson Funeral Home with visitation beginning at 11:00 a.m. Pastor Randy Bennett will officiate. Burial will be in Burtchville Township Cemetery. Pat's legacy is one of love, devotion to family, and unwavering generosity. She touched the lives of many through her kindness, warmth, and the care she gave to those around her. Her family finds comfort in knowing she is now at peace and reunited with loved ones who have gone before her. She will be deeply missed and lovingly remembered by all who knew her, including the devoted staff at MediLodge of Yale. A true firecracker in her later years, Pat kept everyone around her smiling and laughing-sometimes intentionally and sometimes not-and her spirited personality will not soon be forgotten.
