The Pasco Sheriff’s Office is seeking the public's assistance in identifying a woman suspected of retail theft. The incident occurred Tuesday, Sept. 22, around 2:09 p.m. at a business in the 28100 block of State Road 56.

The suspect entered the establishment and stole merchandise, according to the sheriff's office. Authorities released a description of the individual as an adult woman wearing a green short-sleeve shirt, a brown skirt and sandals. She was carrying a black purse.

Investigators are reviewing surveillance footage and other evidence. The Pasco Sheriff's Office urges anyone who recognizes the individual or has information about the case to come forward. The incident is an active criminal investigation.
