Pasco County Utilities customers will see increased water, wastewater, and reclaimed water bills starting Oct. 1, 2026. The adjustments are part of a four-year rate schedule that began in October 2025 and follows a Cost-of-Service Rate Study approved by the Pasco Board of County Commissioners.

The average residential customer using 6,000 gallons of water and sewer services monthly will pay $96.32, an increase of $4.33 from the current $91.99. These changes support the operation, maintenance, repair, and replacement of the county's water systems.

Reclaimed water customers also will see modifications. The base charge for reclaimed water, covering the first 8,000 gallons, increases from $12.66 to $13.26 per month. Usage beyond 8,000 gallons up to 13,000 gallons will cost $1.33 per 1,000 gallons, up from $1.27. Usage exceeding 13,000 gallons will cost $2.27 per 1,000 gallons, up from $2.17.

The monthly Backflow Prevention Device fee increases by $0.33 to $7.22.

County officials state these revenues directly fund reliable, high-quality service for all customers.

The current rate schedule, adopted from the Cost-of-Service Rate Study, includes annual adjustments through September 30, 2029. A comprehensive list of rates and fees is available.
