Pasco County's Office of Disaster Recovery and Resources launched the Small Business & Non-Profit Recovery Program (SBRP) to help local entities recover financially from damage caused by Hurricanes Idalia, Helene, and Milton. The program, part of the county's Better Future initiative, offers financial assistance for storefront and signage repairs, equipment and inventory replacement, operating costs, and workforce development or business relocation.
Eligible businesses and non-profits can learn about the SBRP and its application process at a virtual workshop on Sept. 30, 2026, at 10 a.m. To join the workshop, visit mypas.co/SBRPWorkshop.
The SBRP is funded by approximately $25 million from nearly $586 million in federal grants awarded through the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development's Community Development Block Grant-Disaster Recovery program. More information about the Better Future initiative is available at mypas.co/BetterFuture.
