Pasco County Removes 280 Tons of Trash in West County Cleanup
Pasco County collected 280 tons of trash and debris across three West Pasco neighborhoods in recent community cleanups coordinated by the county's Solid Waste, Public Works, and Code Compliance departments.
Moon Lake accounted for 212 tons of the total. Gulf Highlands yielded 42 tons, and Holiday Lake Estates contributed 26 tons.
Commissioner Jack Mariano said the cleanups give residents a convenient way to dispose of items they cannot easily throw out otherwise. Commissioner Kathryn Starkey called the annual events essential to keeping Pasco "cleaner, safer and more welcoming."
Residents can report trash or debris in their neighborhoods through the MyPasco app, by emailing [email protected], or by calling 727.847.2411.
