DRIVE WITH CAUTION: A Dense Fog Advisory is in effect for the Clatsop County Coast, Tillamook County Coast, and the Central Coast of Oregon until 10:00 AM PDT today, October 3, 2026. The National Weather Service (NWS) in Portland, OR, issued the advisory at 7:52 AM PDT.

Visibility is reported to be one-quarter mile or less in the affected areas due to dense fog. This significantly reduces visibility, making driving conditions hazardous.

The NWS advises drivers to slow down and maintain increased following distances. Pedestrians and cyclists are urged to wear bright or reflective clothing to improve their visibility to others during these low-light conditions.

The advisory is expected to expire at 10:00 AM PDT.
