As of 11:11 PM MDT, a severe thunderstorm was located over Ramah, approximately 30 miles west of Limon, moving east at 20 mph. The NWS reports hazards include 60 mph wind gusts and quarter-sized hail. These conditions are based on observations from trained weather spotters.
Impacts are expected to include hail damage to vehicles and wind damage to roofs, siding, and trees. The communities of Calhan and Ramah are specifically identified as being impacted by this severe weather. The NWS advises taking immediate shelter to ensure safety.
