Universal Free Meals Announcement

Thanks to new legislation and funding from New York State, all K-12 students enrolled in Half Hollow Hills schools will now be eligible to receive one complete breakfast and one complete lunch each school day at no cost to families. The "New York State Universal Free Meals Program" ensures access to nutritious meals for every student across the state. There is nothing you need to do and no forms you need to complete…simply encourage your child to get their breakfast and/or lunch at school each day! This initiative is expected to be reviewed and renewed annually by the state; we hope they will continue to extend this important program beyond the upcoming school year. Menus are available on the district's Food Services webpage at www.hhh.k12.ny.us/food. A la carte items and snacks will still be available for purchase using cash or funds on a student's meal account. If you have any questions, please contact the Food Services Department at (631) 592-3023 or [email protected]. You can also find more information about the state program at https://www.cn.nysed.gov/content/new-york-state-universal-free-meals. We encourage all students to take advantage of this opportunity and enjoy the healthy, balanced meals offered daily in our schools!
