Drivers in Carlton and South St. Louis Counties in Minnesota, and Douglas County in Wisconsin, are urged to slow down and use extra caution this morning due to a Dense Fog Advisory.

The National Weather Service in Duluth has issued this advisory, which is in effect until 8:00 AM CDT today, September 25. Visibility is expected to be significantly reduced, with reports of one-quarter to one-half mile in dense fog.

Hazardous driving conditions are anticipated, particularly in the St. Louis River Valley area between the Twin Ports and Cloquet, where the lowest visibilities are expected. If you must drive this morning, use your low-beam headlights and fog lights, and maintain a safe following distance from other vehicles.
