Protect yourself from identity theft by shredding documents that contain personal information. Operation Medicine Cabinet: Safely dispose of unused or expired prescription drugs and over-the-counter medications. This helps prevent accidental poisoning and reduces the potential for drug abuse. Please do not flush medications down the toilet or throw them in the trash. Guidelines: For Shred-A-Thon: Limit of 5 boxes or bags per vehicle. Please remove binders and metal clips. Staples are okay. For Operation Medicine Cabinet: Accepted items include prescription medications (pills and patches), over-the-counter medications, and empty pill containers. Unaccepted items include needles, sharps, and thermometers. Please remove personal information from labels before dropping off medication. This is a free community event.
