Concerts in the Plaza
Concerts in the Plaza bring back the feeling of warm summer evenings when friends and families gathered in the town square to enjoy music and dancing. This popular event returns to downtown St. Augustine with live performances all summer long. The concert series features talented local and regional musicians. To celebrate America 250, this year's concerts will highlight Americana music and other styles that are an important part of America's musical history. 2026 Show Times: 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM Many people say this event is one of the best ways to spend a Thursday night in downtown St. Augustine. Guests can relax under the large oak trees in the Plaza de la Constitución while enjoying live music. The Plaza has been a public gathering place for more than 400 years. Located in the heart of downtown St. Augustine, the Plaza sits between Cathedral Place and King Street, just west of the Bridge of Lions. Each week, musicians perform from the Gazebo, which has stood in the center of the Plaza for nearly 100 years. Alcohol is not allowed in the Plaza, but guests are welcome to bring food and enjoy a picnic during the concert. Concerts take place every Thursday from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM. If there are weather delays or cancellations, updates will be posted on the city website homepage by 5:00 PM on the day of the concert.
