Accepting Applications for the Desert Hawk Golf Course Management Board Pueblo County is seeking applicants for an open seat on the Desert Hawk Golf Course Management Board. This appointment is a jointly designated position of the Pueblo Board of County Commissioners and the Pueblo West Metropolitan District Board of Directors. The Desert Hawk Golf Course Management Board was created through an Intergovernmental Agreement approved by the Board of County Commissioners on May 8, 2001 (Resolution No. 01‑134). The Board is charged with promoting, managing, operating, developing, and maintaining the Desert Hawk Golf Course at Pueblo West. This partnership reflects the shared jurisdictional commitment of Pueblo County, the Pueblo West Metropolitan District, and the Desert Hawk Golf Course Enterprise. Board members work collaboratively to support the long-term success, stewardship, and community value of this regional recreational asset. The board typically meets quarterly and other times as needed.
