Martin County Holiday Recycling Schedule Changes
Holiday Recycling Collection Schedule The Martin County Solid Waste Division announces the following changes to the holiday recycling collection schedule: There will be no recycling collection on Wednesday, December 25, 2024, for Christmas Day, and Wednesday, January 1, 2025, for New Year's Day. Collections will be made the following day.
Martin County Fire Rescue Toy Drive Underway!
Martin County Fire Rescue is hosting its annual Toy Drive to benefit the children in our community! Donations of new, unwrapped toys can be dropped off at the following locations: -All Martin County Fire Rescue Stations -Petco in Palm City -Publix at the Martin Downs Shopping Center -Seacoast Bank in Palm City Dates: November 25th - December 18th Help us make a child's holiday season brighter!
Martin County LPA to Hold Public Hearing on Comprehensive Plan Evaluation Report
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Martin County Local Planning Agency (LPA) will conduct a Public Hearing to review the 2024 Comprehensive Plan Evaluation and Appraisal Report (EAR). The LPA will consider recommendations to transmit the EAR to the Board of County Commissioners (BCC). Said Hearing will be held on: Thursday, July 11, 2024 at 9:00 AM Commission Chambers, Martin County Administrative Center 2401 S.E. Monterey Road, Stuart, FL 34996 Copies of the 2024 Comprehensive Plan Evaluation and Appraisal Report (EAR) are available for review at the Martin County Growth Management Department, located at 2401 S.E. Monterey Road, Stuart, FL 34996.
Martin County to Conduct Aerial Mosquito Spraying June 24-27
Martin County Mosquito Control will be conducting aerial spraying operations between June 24-27, 2024, between the hours of 8:00 PM and 12:00 AM, weather permitting, to reduce the adult mosquito population in specific areas. For further information, please call 772-288-5628.

Miami Lakes Community Cleanup Scheduled for May 11
Join us for a Community Cleanup in Miami Lakes! Martin County to Hold Community Meetings on Surtax Referendum
Several community meetings have been scheduled for residents to learn more about the surtax referendum.
Martin County Government Closed for Memorial Day
Martin County government offices will be closed on Monday, May 27, 2024, in observance of Memorial Day. Normal operations will resume on Tuesday, May 28, 2024. County libraries will be closed from Saturday, May 25 through Monday, May 27, and will reopen on Tuesday, May 28. The Area Regional Transit (ART) will not operate on Memorial Day.
Martin County Residents Invited to Participate in Parks and Recreation Master Plan Survey
Martin County is updating its Parks and Recreation Master Plan, and we want to hear from you! We encourage residents to share their thoughts by participating in a brief online survey to help prioritize future parks and recreation projects. The survey is available until June 7, 2024.
