Severe Thunderstorm Warning Expires for Choctaw, Clay, Oktibbeha, and Webster Counties
A Severe Thunderstorm Warning for Choctaw, Clay, Oktibbeha, and Webster counties has expired, as the National Weather Service reports the storm has weakened and no longer poses a threat.
The Severe Thunderstorm Warning issued for Choctaw, Clay, Oktibbeha, and Webster counties has been allowed to expire, effective September 21, 2026, at 8:30 PM CDT. The National Weather Service in Jackson, MS, reported that the storm which prompted the warning has weakened and no longer poses an immediate threat to life or property.
Residents in these areas are advised that severe conditions have subsided. No further immediate action is required regarding this particular storm event.
