Robert Eugene Davis, 87 of Anniston, Alabama, passed away on April 24,2026, at his home in Anniston.He is survived by his wife of 65 years, Windell P. Davis. Sons Stephen Davis (Sandra) Marc Davis and Andy Davis (Jennifer). Grandchildren Stephanie Davis (Clint) Laura Spurling (Ryan) Candace Simone (Daniel) Tracie Wooten (David) Zach Davis, Brandon Giaidina (Catalina) Great Grandchildren Cash, Caden and Eden Davis, Adeline and Griffin Spurlin, Bella Branham, Ottilie Wooten and Scarlett Giaidina.He was preceded in death by his parents Herman C. Davis and Norma J. Davis.Robert was a retired teacher at Welborn Elementary School and was also former head basketball coach at Munford High School and Berry High School.Robert was a lifelong Auburn and St. Louis Cardinal fan. His love for sports was instilled in his sons who became fans of daddy’s favorite teams.His greatest gift was leading by example and instilling in his sons the yearning to study the word of God and become followers of Jesus Christ just like daddy.Although we are heartbroken at his passing, we take great comfort in knowing that we will see him again when we are all in the presence of the Lord.Graveside services will be Monday, April 27, 2026, 2:00 pm at Maple Grove Cemetery with  Dr. Roland Brown  officiating.
