Funeral service for Jonathan Mark Boyd, 57, of Anniston, will be held at 2:00 PM on Thursday, May 7, 2026, at Anniston Memorial Funeral Home. Brother Mark Walker will be officiating. His family will receive friends at the funeral home from 1:00 PM until time of the service. Burial will follow the service in Anniston Memorial Gardens.Mark passed away on Tuesday, May 5, 2026, at his home. He is preceded in death by his parents, Johnny and Helen Sparks Boyd; niece, Katie Lynne Boyd.He leaves behind his brother, Dr. David Boyd (Lisa); nephew, Casey Boyd (Jamey); aunts, Joyce Terry, and Sue Lee; uncle, Harold Sparks; and several cousins.Mark was a member of the First Baptist Church of Weaver. He was a native of Anniston and went to Weaver High School and graduated in 1987. He was an avid Alabama Football fan and loved to fish. He was a loyal employee of CVG. To know Mark was to love him, he never met a stranger, had a caring heart and will forever be missed.Pallbearers will be Tim Matson, Ronald Chapman, Ray Thompson, Bill Wade, Adam Vaughn, and Dale Bearden.
