Charlton, Glenmere Road Bridge, August 2010 (4923825863)
MassDOT works with the Town of Charlton to repair the Glenmere Road Bridge. This is a new deck designed, fabricated and delivered to the site. The existing substructure was retained. A crane dropped the bridge components into place. MassDOT will use a paving crew from the former Massachusetts Turnpike Authority to add pavement. The Town covers the cost of the guard rail installation.

E-85 Flex Fuel Station, Charlton, August 30, 2012 (7894671020)
Labor Day travelers will notice E-85 pumps at the Service Plazas in Charlton on I-90 Eastbound and I-90 Westbound and in Westborough, I-90 Westbound. These pumps are clearly marked and stand apart from unleaded and diesel pumps. E-85 is a blend of 85 percent ethanol and 15 percent gasoline and is intended for use in Flex Fuel vehicles.
