Donald E. Kittoe, 95, of Batavia, IL passed away on June 3, 2026. He was born on September 29, 1930, in Aurora, IL the son of Harold and Frieda (Hauser) Kittoe.Don was a curious and intelligent man whose love of learning stayed with him throughout his life. He had an active mind and was always thinking, creating, and finding new ways to improve the spaces around him. He enjoyed designing and reconfiguring rooms, taking pride in making things both beautiful and functional. A talented woodworker, Don had a gift for working with his hands and creating pieces that reflected his skill and craftsmanship. A devoted sports fan, he especially loved the Chicago Cubs and the Chicago Bears. After a dedicated career, he retired from All Steel in 1992.Don will be remembered for his sharp mind, kind heart and love for his family.He is survived by his children; Kathy (the late Craig) Schindlbeck, Michael (Donna Ramadan) Kittoe and craig Kittoe; grandchildren, Christopher (Danielle) Schindlbeck and Hannah, Abby and Malek Ramadan; great grandchildren, Sophia, Charlie and Olivia Schindlbeck and several nieces and nephews.He is preceded in death by his parents; wife Gloria Kittoe,  grandson, Matthew Schindlbeck and siblings, Edwin (Vicki) Kittoe, Charlotte (Roy) Little and Ken (Marie) Kittoe.Family will be receiving guests on Monday, June 8, 2026 from 12:00 PM to 2:00 PM at Dieterle Memorial Home. A private interment will take place at a later date at Lincoln Memorial Park, Aurora, IL.
