She was always ready for a good time, loved making memories with the people she cared about, and left a lasting impression on everyone fortunate enough to know her. Margaret loved spending time with her children and truly always wanted the very best for them. Her grandchildren were her entire world, and she loved them deeply, cherishing every moment spent together doing anything to make them laugh. She was also a devoted Chicago sports fan, especially when it came to the Chicago White Sox and the Chicago Bears. Whether cheering on her teams, spending time with loved ones, or reminiscing about cherished memories, Margaret lived with emotion, passion, and heart. She was a hardworking woman throughout her life, and in her later years found comfort in a quieter, more low-key lifestyle. Margaret adored her beloved dogs, Buddy and Milo, who meant so much to her and who preceded her in passing. She was stubborn, smart, unforgettable, and deeply loved. Margaret also shared a special bond with her late boyfriend, Damian, who passed away last year. He was not only her partner, but truly her best friend. Though her passing leaves an unimaginable emptiness, her laughter, spirit, and love will continue to live on through her family, friends, children, and especially her grandchildren. She will be missed beyond words and remembered always.Funeral services for Margaret will be held at Farkas Funeral Home, 3201 W. Jefferson St. Joliet, IL 60431 on Friday, June 5, 2026, at 7:00 PM.
