Hermilia Alvarez Hernandez, 81 of Aurora, passed away Friday May 29, 2026 at her home surrounded by her loving family. She was born in Mexico on August 2, 1944; daughter of Natalia Hernandez. Hermilia was a homemaker. Her passion was working with St Nicholas Church; helping to prepare for Mass, and help the priest administer the sacraments. She is survived by 2 daughters; Teresa Hernandez and Martha and 2 sons; Jaime and Cruz. 10 grandchildren; Ivan Hernandez, Brenda Mendoza, Martha Hernandez, Lorenzo Hernandez, Danielia Mendoza, Pamela Mendoza, Katia Alvarez, Erick Alvarez, Arturo Alvarez, Jaime Hrenandez Jr, along with 5 more grandchildren and 35 great grandchildren. A sister Felicitas and many nieces, nephews and other relatives. Hermilia is preceded in death by her mom. Visitation and Mass (Mass will be at St. Nicholas Church), days and times to be announced.
