This warning indicates a life-threatening storm surge is possible, with peak inundation potentially reaching 3-5 feet above ground in surge-prone areas.
Residents in affected areas are advised to leave immediately if evacuation orders are given to avoid being cut off from emergency services. Evacuation efforts and flood preparations should be completed before conditions become unsafe. The window of concern for this storm surge is from Friday morning until Saturday morning.
