West winds of 15 to 30 mph, with gusts reaching up to 45 mph, are expected. These conditions may impact the Foothills and Valleys of Pierce and Southern King Counties, Foothills and Valleys of Thurston and Lewis Counties, Lowlands of Pierce and Southern King Counties, Olympia and Southern Puget Sound, Lowlands of Lewis and Southern Thurston Counties, Middle Chehalis River Valley, and Willapa and Black Hills, and Southern Hood Canal.
Gusty winds can dislodge unsecured objects and may cause tree limbs to fall, potentially leading to scattered power outages. The National Weather Service advises extra caution, especially for drivers of high-profile vehicles, as strong winds can make driving difficult.
