A Wind Advisory is in effect until Sunday, October 11, for parts of Millard, Juab, and other counties, with south winds up to 55 mph expected, posing risks to property and travel.
Residents in Western Millard and Juab Counties, Eastern Juab/Millard Counties, Sevier Valley, Southwest Utah, Upper Sevier River Valleys, and Bryce Canyon Country should secure loose outdoor objects immediately. A Wind Advisory has been issued by the National Weather Service in Salt Lake City, effective until 6:00 AM MDT on Sunday, October 11.
South winds of 25 to 35 mph with gusts up to 55 mph are expected. These strong winds can move loose debris, damage property, and may cause power outages. Travel will be difficult, particularly for high-profile vehicles and those towing trailers.
Drivers are advised to use extra caution. Unsecured objects should be fastened or moved to a safe location before the winds begin. Monitor local forecasts and warnings for any updates.
