Cape Coral residents in the North 3 Utilities Extension Project (UEP) area, which includes neighborhoods near Coral Oaks Golf Club, can discuss their individual assessments and payment options at an informational meeting Monday, Oct. 19, 2026. The meeting runs from 5 to 8 p.m. in the Council Chambers on the second floor of Cape Coral City Hall, 1015 Cultural Park Blvd.

This open-house event is for property owners within the North 3 UEP boundaries only. Property owners should bring their assessment packets, which will be mailed in advance, to discuss with city staff. Representatives from various departments will be available to answer questions.

City Finance staff will cover individual assessments, payment options and hardship program eligibility. Contractors will discuss construction activities and schedules. A species consultant will address environmental considerations, and the Florida Department of Health will offer information on septic systems and public health. UEP staff will provide overall project information and outline next steps.

Construction for the North 3 UEP is scheduled to begin by the end of 2026 and is expected to last about two years, concluding by the end of 2028. Residents can visit the city's North 3 UEP webpage or call 833-CAPE-UEP (833-227-3837) for more information.
