Cocoa Communications Team Wins PR Awards Statewide

The City of Cocoa's communications team received multiple statewide public relations accolades at the Florida Public Relations Association's 2026 PR & Comms Summit in Orlando, Aug. 9-12.

Public Information Officer Jaime Braudrick earned a Golden Image Award, a Creativity Award, Judges’ Awards and Awards of Distinction for three City of Cocoa projects. Her work on the "Tiger Pride Fire Truck Reveal Video," a collaboration with 142 Productions, received a Golden Image Award, Creativity Award and Judges’ Award. Braudrick's "Civic Workbook for Kids" earned an Award of Distinction and a Judges’ Award. She also collaborated with Ashley Blasewitz of Brightline on the "Emergency Media Relations Exercise," which received an Award of Distinction in the Public Information category.

Samantha Senger, Director of Communication and Economic Development, received FPRA's Doris Fleischman Award. The award honors dedicated volunteers for their contributions to the public relations profession.

Braudrick also began a new leadership role as President-Elect of the Space Coast Chapter of FPRA for the 2026-27 year.

The recognitions highlight the City of Cocoa's commitment to creative and effective communication.
