Affected areas include Corson, Campbell, McPherson, Walworth, Edmunds, Dewey, Potter, Faulk, Stanley, Sully, Hughes, Hyde, Hand, Jones, Lyman, and Buffalo counties. Visibility is reported to be one-quarter mile or less in the dense fog, making driving conditions hazardous.
The NWS urges drivers to slow down, use their headlights, and maintain plenty of distance between their vehicle and others on the road. The advisory will expire at 11:00 AM CDT.
