This advisory impacts counties including Clay, Greene, Craighead, Poinsett, Mississippi, Cross, Crittenden, St. Francis, Lee, Phillips in Arkansas; Dunklin, Pemiscot in Missouri; DeSoto, Marshall, Benton, Tippah, Alcorn, Tishomingo, Tunica, Tate, Prentiss, Coahoma, Quitman, Panola, Lafayette, Union, Pontotoc, Tallahatchie, Yalobusha, Calhoun in Mississippi; and Lake, Obion, Weakley, Henry, Dyer, Gibson, Carroll, Benton, Lauderdale, Tipton, Haywood, Crockett, Madison, Chester, Henderson, Decatur, Shelby, Fayette, Hardeman, McNairy, Hardin in Tennessee.

Residents should secure outdoor objects as gusty winds can blow them around. Tree limbs could be brought down, and isolated power outages are possible. Driving may be difficult, particularly for high-profile vehicles. The National Weather Service urges extra caution while on the roads during this period.
