Brownsville's First Breeze Airways Flight to Orlando

Priscilla Perales and her daughter boarded Breeze Airways' inaugural nonstop flight from Brownsville South Padre Island International Airport to Orlando on Thursday morning, heading to Disney World.

"My daughter loves Mickey and Minnie, so she's super excited," Perales said. "That makes our trips a lot easier. We will probably be going a lot more often now that Brownsville offers nonstop flights."

Breeze Airways will operate the route year-round, twice weekly on Mondays and Fridays. Introductory fares start at $79.

Airport leaders said the route supports tourism and regional connectivity by allowing Rio Grande Valley residents to fly from home instead of driving to another airport. More information is available at flybro.com.
