Bradenton, FL – Authorities arrested Mikey McGuire, 50, on June 19, 2026, after he allegedly shot his 37-year-old stepson multiple times in the 5300 block of 16th Street West. The victim remains in critical condition at Blake Hospital.

The Manatee County Sheriff’s Office responded to the incident around 12:06 PM. Deputies reported the shooting followed an argument between the two men.
