Bradenton Mourns Compassionate Deborah Graff Vallone

Bradenton lost a beloved community member with the unexpected passing of Deborah Graff Vallone on August 4, 2026. She died from complications following an open-heart procedure.

Originally from Rochester, New York, Deborah made Bradenton her home and significantly impacted those around her. Known for her caring nature, she dedicated herself to helping, listening, and organizing the lives of her loved ones, friends, and coworkers. Many will remember her as the unofficial organizer of everyone's lives, always equipped with notes, lists, reminders, and alarms. Her ability to keep everyone on schedule will be missed.

At Ford, where she worked, Deborah became known affectionately as the "work mom." She cared for her coworkers, looked out for them, and fostered a sense of family within the workplace.

Deborah found joy in simple pleasures and the outdoors. She enjoyed walking the pier, watching sunsets, kayaking, visiting local markets, and relaxing by her pool, which was a cherished happy place.

More than anything, Deborah Graff will be remembered for her boundless generosity. She freely gave her time, advice, reminders, love, and her heart, ensuring the well-being of those she loved without seeking recognition. Her absence leaves a void, but the love and lessons she imparted will endure.

Deborah is survived by her husband, Ed Graff; daughters Danielle Zambito (Tony Monachino) and Samantha Zambito; grandchildren Morgan Chambers and Anthony Monachino; father Richard J. Vallone (Lauren Howitt Vallone); and brothers Richard M. Vallone and Emet Vallone. She also leaves behind many extended family members, friends, and coworkers. She was predeceased by her mother, Marsha Catanzano.

Family and friends gathered August 30, 2026, from 2-4 p.m. at Brown & Sons Funeral Homes & Crematory, 43rd St. Chapel, 604 43rd St., Bradenton. Attendees wore purple, her favorite color, in her honor. A celebration of Deborah's life followed. Brown & Sons Funeral Homes & Crematory 43rd Street Chapel handled arrangements.
