Men's Final Four Teams Reconfigure Rosters Ahead of New Season

College basketball's Final Four teams are undergoing significant roster adjustments following the 2026 season. Programs are navigating player transfers to optimize their lineups.

Team A saw two key players declare for the NBA Draft. Player X, a forward, averaged 18.5 points and 9.2 rebounds per game. Guard Y, a primary ball-handler, contributed 15.3 points and 6.8 assists per game. The team subsequently secured commitments from two transfers: Guard Z, who previously averaged 17.1 points, and Forward W, known for his 8.7 rebounds per game.

Team B experienced the departure of its leading scorer, Player M, a guard who posted 20.1 points per game, to the professional ranks. However, the team successfully recruited a highly sought-after transfer center, Player N, who averaged a double-double with 14.5 points and 10.3 rebounds at his previous institution. They also added a junior college All-American guard who scored 21.0 points per game.

Team C retained its core lineup, with no players declaring for the draft or entering the transfer portal. The team did, however, add a transfer wing, Player P, who averaged 12.8 points and shot 42% from three-point range last season, strengthening their perimeter scoring. The team responded by acquiring two impactful transfers: Guard T, a prolific scorer who put up 19.4 points per game, and Center U, a defensive specialist who averaged 2.5 blocks per contest.
