Students, parents and community members across Palm Beach County have a new tool to report potential school safety threats. The School District of Palm Beach County, in partnership with the state of Florida, launched the FortifyFL app, a suspicious activity reporting system.

The app allows users to anonymously submit information about potential threats directly to law enforcement and school officials. Users can describe suspicious activity and upload photos or videos. Tips reach school administrators, school police, local law enforcement and state investigators 24 hours a day.

This initiative provides a swift and secure channel for reporting concerns. Threats made on social media are a second-degree felony in Florida.

The system is designed for ease of use and anonymous submissions, enabling individuals to report concerns without fear of reprisal. School police monitor tips around the clock and are prepared to respond to situations at any time.

The FortifyFL app is available for download on the iTunes and Google Play stores. It can also be bookmarked on school computers. The School District encourages all community members to download the app to help maintain a safe learning environment. Individuals who knowingly submit false tips may face criminal penalties under Florida statutes.
