Bonita Springs Finalist for 2026 Great Places in Florida Award

Bonita Springs is a finalist for the 2026 Great Places in Florida People’s Choice Award. The city is asking residents to vote for it before the Sept. 30 deadline.

An independent selection committee chose Bonita Springs and three other finalists: Harrison Avenue in Downtown Panama City, Palm City Place & Patio, and Wellington Town Center. The nomination recognizes the city’s appeal and quality of life.

The City of Bonita Springs ran a communications campaign throughout September to encourage voting. The campaign included e-blasts, social media posts and press releases.

Residents can cast their vote at florida.planning.org/greatplaces. Community participation will determine the winner.
