Bonita Springs Named 2026 Great Places in Florida Finalist

Bonita Springs is a finalist for the 2026 Great Places in Florida People's Choice Award, recognizing the city's appeal and community engagement. An independent committee selected Bonita Springs from a pool of nominations. The city now competes against Harrison Avenue in Downtown Panama City, Palm City Place & Patio, and Wellington Town Center for the public's vote.

Residents can vote on the official Great Places in Florida website through September 30. The city will launch a communications campaign in September via e-blasts, social media and press releases to encourage community participation.

The Great Places in Florida program honors communities for exceptional planning, design and quality of life. Winning the award could further boost Bonita Springs' recognition, tourism and community pride.
