FAU Women's Tennis Earns National Academic Honors

Boca Raton, FL – The Florida Atlantic University women's tennis team earned ITA All-Academic Team honors, recognizing their commitment to excellence both on and off the court.

The Owls' dedication extends to their recruiting efforts, with the 2025-26 class ranked No. 22 nationally.

Looking ahead to the 2026-27 season, the doubles pair of Bartha and Pavkova will open the campaign ranked No. 48 nationally.

Gerard Planelles Ripoll has joined the Owls' coaching staff.

Individual players also received accolades, with a doubles duo finishing among the nation's elite. The team welcomed Anastasiya Kolyada to the roster.

The Owls competed in the American Championship, falling in the event. They also secured victories over DePaul and Charlotte.

Florida Atlantic University's athletic department held its annual Giving Day on Thursday, Sept. 17, to encourage community support.
